Our approach

Make yourself a priority and find balance in life. Reach out for help addressing challenges and learn how to improve your mental health. Evolve Behavioral Health is here to support you every step of the way.

Dr. Marceron’s approach is empathetic and client-centered. She uses evidence-based practices (treatment modalities that are supported by research) tailored to meet the needs and interests of her clients. Dr. Marceron is active and engaged in her sessions and her personality is informal yet professional. Her clients describe her as approachable, non-judgemental, and warm. She focuses on helping her clients gain an understanding of and learn how to improve/cope with their symptoms such that their initial concerns no longer hold them back in personal goals. She finds the most success with clients who are willing to: try new things, consider new perspectives, and take action on topics discussed in sessions.

Dr. Marceron values collaborative work, meaning she values feedback in the therapeutic process and will make adjustments depending on what works well for you. Often, Dr. Marceron will work with her clients to identify “homework” to try outside of session. For example, if you discuss feeling dismissed by your partner, you and Dr. Marceron may come up with strategies for having a conversation with your partner about how you feel and what to ask for moving forward.

Dr. Marceron believes therapy can be a helpful tool to cope with stressors, enhance relationship quality, reduce unpleasant psychological symptoms, and achieve life goals. She also believes that therapy can be helpful to enhance quality of life and help her clients reach their maximum potential!

Anxiety

If you are experiencing excessive worry and difficulty controlling said worry, as well as difficulty concentrating, restlessness, being easily fatigued, irritability, muscle tension, and/or sleep disturbance, you may be experiencing generalized anxiety disorder.

Depression

If you are experiencing low mood, lack of pleasure in activities you typically enjoy, sleep difficulties, changes in eating behaviors/appetite, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty concentrating, and/or suicidal ideation, you may be experiencing major depressive disorder.

Relationship issues

Relationship issues can mean a lot of different things and involve many different types of relationships. For example, although many couples benefit from couples’ therapy, it is often helpful for each part of the couple to attend individual therapy to help identify maladaptive behavior patterns or thought patterns that impact the relationship.

Adjustment

Sometimes people experience unpleasant symptoms after a significant life change or event. For example, if you are experiencing difficulty concentrating, feeling overwhelmed, frequent crying, trouble sleeping, changes in appetite, and/or feelings of worry associated with a stressful life event, you may be experiencing adjustment disorder.
