TRACK 1: THE HIGH-PERFORMANCE MIND
For Executives, Professionals, & Students
You have built a life on high standards, but the strategies that got you here are now the things causing your burnout. You are at your wits end with the time, mental resources, and energy spent on dealing with anxiety, OCD, and/or perfectionism. We move beyond generic “stress management” to evidence-based treatment for the specific anxieties of the high-achiever.
Common Presenting Issues:
- High-Functioning Anxiety: Outwardly successful, inwardly exhausted. Constant rumination about the future or replaying past interactions.
- Perfectionism & Imposter Syndrome: The paralysis of “not good enough” and the fear of being exposed, despite objective success.
- OCD & Intrusive Thoughts: Rigid routines, checking behaviors, or disturbing unwanted thoughts that disrupt your focus.
- Burnout & “Golden Handcuffs”: Navigating the pressure of the C-Suite or rigorous academic programs (Med School, Law, PhD, etc.).
The Clinical Approach: We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you unhook from unhelpful thought loops. The goal is not to lower your standards, but to help you pursue them without the suffering.
TRACK 2: THE PARENTHOOD & FERTILITY JOURNEY
For Parents & Professionals Navigating the Transition
Our clients start working with us during the major identity shift that comes with trying to grow a family, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or managing infertility and/or IVF. This period is often the first time high-achievers face a situation they cannot research or “work” their way out of. We provide a clinical space to process the identity shift, the trauma of fertility challenges, and the anxiety of new parenthood.
Common Presenting Issues:
- Infertility & IVF Trauma: Navigating the grief, uncertainty, and “medicalization” of your body during fertility treatments.
- Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs): Postpartum anxiety, rage, and depressive symptoms that go beyond the “baby blues.”
- Perinatal OCD: Scary, intrusive thoughts about the baby’s safety (e.g., dropping, harming, or contaminating) that lead to hyper-checking or avoidance.
- Identity & Career Integration: Reconciling your professional identity with your new role as a parent.
The Clinical Approach: We offer specialized care in perinatal mental health (for moms, dads, and caregivers) with targeted interventions for the perinatal period. Dr. Marceron has both a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) as well as lived experience with infertility and IVF.
The Clinical Pathway
We move beyond open-ended talking to a structured, three-phase framework.
Phase 1: The Diagnostic Assessment
We start by reviewing your history, identifying your symptoms, and determine your goals in therapy. Our conceptualization of your presenting concerns will lead to the formation of a structured treatment plan.
Phase 2: The Strategic Intervention
We move from insight to action by collaboratively working through evidence-based tools and treatment (drawing from CBT, ACT, and ERP) to disrupt rigid thinking and behavioral patterns. You will leave sessions with actionable strategies and goals to complete in between sessions to facilitate your progress. This process is iterative, collaborative, and continuously evolving based on the unique factors and context in your life.
Phase 3: Sustainable Integration
Our objective is to meet your goals set at the beginning of our work together (and any others that may come up) and then equip you with skills and strategies to maintain your progress/outcomes after discontinuing therapy. Our clients are always welcome to engage in maintenance therapy sessions (less frequent check ins on maintenance of goals after our substantial work has ended).
Conquer the anxiety. Keep the ambition.
Evidence-based therapy for professionals navigating anxiety, OCD, and reproductive health.
